Years ago, a woman with whom I worked visited Paris and said she had found an arcade called by my name. We stumbled across it yesterday in a very salubrious part of Paris. I was suitably impressed. It is very, very beautiful.

At the main entrance.
There are very few Vivienne's and even fewer spelt the French way - with "enne".
Of course, it was the wine merchant that caught Paul's attention.
And those big bottles ….
But for me it was the proportions, the floor, the arches, the light!
I could have stayed here for ever.
But instead, i gave the camera to Paul and nonchalantly drooped myself over a post so that I could be in the photos.
And finally,
the Apple shop, with an EFTPOS machine and two salespersons (in blue t-shirts) per table.
